Pakistan, located in South Asia, is home to the world’s second-highest mountain, K2, and the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The country is known for its diverse cultures, including Punjabi, Sindhi, and Pashtun. Lahore’s Badshahi Mosque is one of the largest mosques globally. Pakistan has a rich history, gaining independence in 1947. Its economy is diverse, featuring agriculture, manufacturing, and services. Karachi, the economic hub, is one of the most populous cities globally.

President’s Message

I envision Pakistan Canada Association of Edmonton (PCAE) being a community hub to connect families through a diverse cultural and social programs, services and events. I hope under my leadership, we provide you a team of professionals, dedicated and hardworking executives working towards building a strong community you can be proud to call yourself a Pakistani Canadian.

This website we have tried to make it as informational and interactive as possible. On the website, in addition to the history, organization and background of PCA Edmonton, offers you to interact with the community events. This website is an additional source of information beside our Facebook posts and monthly newsletters.

Pakistan Canada Association Edmonton

Edmonton’s Pakistani community is rapidly growing with over 10,000 Pakistani Canadians residing in Edmonton. Pakistan Canada Association of Edmonton (PCAE) is a community based organization that aims at making desired improvements to the Edmonton’s Pakistani Community’s social well-being and overall functioning. The organization is striving to preserve and promote the cultural and social heritage of Pakistan, including appreciation of history, cultural, language and traditions of Pakistanis among the members of the Association as well as other Canadian residents.

Generous Words From Minister Gray and MLA Loyal

On November 29, 2018 a few of the members of the Pakistan Canada Association of Edmonton were invited by Minister Christina Gray and MLA Rod Loyola to the legislature and introduced in the house.
